An automated deployment on Azure
OpenShift Container Platform supports the Kubernetes Container Network Interface (CNI) as the interface between OpenShift and an external software defined network (SDN). SDN plug-ins are a powerful and flexible way to match advanced network capabilities to your networking needs, like service chaining and cross datacenter load distribution. It enables your business to release complex network applications in the typical short release cycles your DevOps environment expects.
During this workshop you will deploy your own OpenShift platform with integrated Nokia Nuage SDN solution, using different automation techniques and platforms – such as Ansible, Git, Pipelines, Cloud-init and public cloud templates. Later, you will learn the basics of setting up a Nuage network for use within OpenShift.
The deployment is automation driven, as we believe installations of platforms should be repeatable and easy to spin up in different datacenter locations or in the cloud. This way you can easily test out new features or have a new OpenShift platform running in no time after a disaster.
Want to experience all the possibilities of Red Hat OpenShift integrated with Nuage SDN in person? Join our hands-on lab on Thursday 6 December!
