Increase your company productivity in an easy and simple way with Microsoft RPA Solution

Every year companies waste millions of dollars in tasks that although important, produce no significant value. Tasks like invoice processing, stock management or on-boarding can be quite repetitive and cumbersome. However, the good news is that most of these processes can be carried out by Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

RPA uses software capable of performing most human-computer interactions, accomplishing simple or rule-based tasks, error-free, at high volume and speed. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is one of the hottest topics in the current IT landscape. According to the economist, 91% of surveyed organizations are using automation technologies and 94% of CEOs that incorporated RPA believe that it increased productivity.

However, RPA is just one of the different components of hyperautomation.

According to Gartner, hyperautomation´s goal is to automate as many processes as possible inside an organization. This means, automating processes using artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), API-automation (DPA) and other technologies to run without human intervention.  An end-to-end automation of an invoicing process which combines:

  • AI to read invoices,
  • API (software intermediary that allows two applications to communicate with each other) automation to trigger the automation process when an email is received,;
  • RPA to insert the invoice information into a legacy software, is a good example of hyperautomation..

Is a good example of hyperautomation..

But what are the advantages of hyperautomation?

Since 2020, hyperautomation has always had a place on Gartners’ top strategy list. Hyperautomation transforms businesses by restructuring business processes, eliminating monotonous tasks, and automating manual ones. This has several key benefits. It allows organizations to complete tasks with consistency, accuracy, and speed. This, in return, reduces costs and generally improves the customer experience and worker moral.

But as with every new technology, companies do not feel ready to tackle automation due to raw or poor-quality data and lack of resources with technical skills to address it.

However, this is where Microsoft’s power automate platform comes in. Power automate is a low code/no code platform that can be used by business users and citizen developers and does not require prior development knowledge, but it can also be used by developers for more complex automations.

Power Automate is composed of two main components, Power Automate Cloud, that is the heart of the platform and Power Automate desktop, which is the centerpiece for automation.

  • The first one contains more than 470 connectors of the most widely used 1st and 3rd party applications like most Microsoft products, SAP, Salesforce, just to name a few. These connectors allow for API-Automation, as well as event driven automations
  • The second is a drag and drop software which with over 400 action provides an easy approach to automating legacy software installed on-premises that have no API.

These two components combined with AI Builder (a Power platform component, which contains a vast number of pre-build AI models) make power platform an easy and complete solution for companies looking to increase their productivity with automation.
