Do your kids want to learn how to program? Eager to express their creativity in a videogame, website or robot? Seems fun to do this together with friends? CoderDojo organizes free coding workshops for youngsters from 7 to 18 years old. These workshops entirely prepared and led by volunteers. On Saturday 22 October 2022, the CoderDojo4Girlz is hosted by Devoteam in Belgium.
CoderDojo4Girlz is an annual event organized especially for girls. We notice that the majority of our participants at regular workshops are still boys. We believe that Women in Tech have the same potential and that they can equally make a difference in the tech world. To empower young girls and awaken their passion for technology, CoderDojo and Devoteam organize this special event.
During the event, girls can learn to program, set up websites, develop apps and games, etc. They meet like-minded participants and show each other what they have created. CoderDojo makes development and programming a fun, exciting and cool learning experience.
Parents can have a drink and a chat at the Devoteam cantine while their youngster is having fun. Meet the Devoteam colleagues and discover why working at a multidisciplinary tech company is a great experience.
Registration for this event is free. Workshops are given in Dutch.
