Devoteam Belgium recruited Melissa Delissen as Microsoft Business Leader. Her task is to increase the turnover of services with Microsoft technology this year by 20 per cent. Devoteam also wants to recruit additional Microsoft consultants this year.
The coming years, Devoteam Belgium will focus more on partnerships with, among others, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Google, ForgeRock, CyberArk, Red Hat, Ometa and UiPath.
The goal is to quadruple the turnover from services with Microsoft technology by 2024 compared to 2020. Devoteam Belgium has had a partnership with Microsoft for more than 20 years now and is one of its Gold partners.
Microsoft Business Leader
Melissa Delissen accepted the position after working for more than seven years at Fujitsu, where she started and led a Microsoft division.
Microsoft has been the common thread running through her career. In the past, she was mainly active in Microsoft’s Active Directory and Exchange software. She has also worked at Microsoft.
Other companies she has worked for include Computacenter, Erudict, Dräger Medical, Philips Dendermonde, MSP, Ordina and ACV. She learned to program in the C++ programming language, started her career in technical positions and progressed to a management role.
Azure, Microsoft 365 and security
Melissa Delissen will focus on three matters: the public cloud Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) and the security of Microsoft 365. This includes identity and access management. Devoteam Belgium aims to increase its certifications for Microsoft cloud technology.
“With business strategy as a starting point, we will realise the most suitable technical implementation for our customers. Devoteam distinguishes itself by helping customers with the business and technical side. We do this from Belgium and have the scale to work for medium-sized and large organisations.”
