Marnix De Troyer has been appointed CEO/Managing Partner of the French listed IT group Devoteam’s Management Consulting branch in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Devoteam Management Consulting Belux is primarily aimed at businesses in industries such as retail, energy, financial services (banking and insurance), telecommunications/media, health care, pharmaceutics and production. The companies they work for include Argenta, Carrefour, Colruyt and Vynova in Tessenderlo, among others.
Marnix De Troyer: “We want to be our clients’ preferred partner to assist them in determining and implementing their business and IT strategies, and to manage and help them carry out the associated transformation programmes. By the end of this year, Marnix De Troyer wants to make Devoteam Management Consulting Belux grow from its current 15 consultants to at least 25. By 2020, he aims to increase that number to about 100 consultants. For this year, his goal is to have a turnover of 1.5 million euros.

Over 25 years of experience
After his Economics and Computer Science studies, Marnix De Troyer has accumulated over 25 years of professional experience. He has worked as Dexia’s IT manager and Crelan’s Business Transformation Manager, then moved on to Deutsche Bank Belgium (head of IT/COO), Ordina Belgium (where he launched a new business unit for business consultancy) and Capgemini Netherlands (Director of Financial Services – banking and insurance).
