Devoteam Belgium welcomes Michaël Degrez as the new Managing Partner of our Business Consulting department. Degrez’s goal is to triple the number of employees at Digital Impulse, the new name of the consultancy department, within the next three years.
By the end of 2024, Michaël Degrez aims to hire forty people for a multidisciplinary team that collaborates closely with Devoteam Belgium’s other teams. These teams are responsible for Devoteam’s operational services involving Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Microsoft, Salesforce and ServiceNow.
As the department’s Managing Partner, Michaël Degrez will be responsible for Digital Impulse’s go-to-market strategy and other aspects. Before he joined Devoteam, Degrez was a Managing Partner at AE for thirteen years, after which he moved on to be the Commercial Director at In The Pocket. Before AE, the 43-year-old business engineer worked at DXC Technology for four years and at KPMG for one year.
“I already had a good relationship with Devoteam in the past, and the mutual interest always remained”, he explains. “Now, there was an opportunity to expand the Business Consulting entity. To differentiate Digital Impulse more prominently on the market, we’ll take on digital transformation projects from determining the strategy to implementing the solution and taking care of change management. Thanks to this customer-oriented focus and multidisciplinary approach with our five strategic partners, I’m sure that we offer an attractive environment for talented newcomers on the job market, like digital enterprise architects, business and data analysts, change and project managers.”
Devoteam Belgium’s Business Consulting department is active in several branches, such as the retail and financial sector. The company has customers such as Carrefour, Domo, Euroclear, Philips and Yara. “Digital Impulse is meant to give an impulse to the digital evolution and transformation of businesses and organisations – hence the name”, says Degrez. “We help them speed up their digitization, get more out of their data and improve their customers’ digital experience.”
